Portuguese Water Dog

The Obama girls are scheduled to get their First Dog sometime in April after their spring break. Rumor is that it will be a Rescued Portuguese Water Dog. Check out the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America on the link shown.

Mollie is a Water Dog Wanna Be too, here she is on Mille Lacs hiding in the shade! She has been know to jump overboard to help catch fish!

Mollie is sad they they are not looking at a Goldendoodle or a Labradoodle, but happy they are looking at a Rescue Dog. For more information on rescue dogs of any breed you can contact that breed association, Chuck & Don's pet store or the humane society. Remember as people have lost homes during the housing crisis, the shelters are overflowing with animals who are in the prime of their life and have also lost their families and need a new "forever home."
